They aren't even available in the Apple stores on land yet. You can only order them in the store. For the record the ship doesn't discount apple products they are the same price everywhere. Sometimes stores like Walmart will sell the old technology at a reduced price but new products are all priced the same. I purchased a Macbook for my son and the only reason I purchased it on the ship was to save the sales tax. However, if you have OBC that would be an additional savings and another reason to purchase an Apple product on board. They have very limited stock. They ran out of iPads on my sailing.

Many thanks for the info, will have to wait for my next but one cruise from NYC and buy it there.
