Ruby beds

They have a pillow top type cover they will add to your bed. Just ask your steward when you get to your cabin that way when they turn your bed down for the evening.

We were on the Ruby in May and had one put on our bed.

Can anyone who has been on Ruby recently tell me if there are new pillow top mattresses or are they still the rock-hard ones so many people have complained about?

Mattress's are replaced on an ongoing basis. They do not do them all at once.

We'll be in a balcony cabin mid aft. Anyone stayed in that area lately? I guess I'll check as soon as we get to our stateroom and if the bed is like Gibralter, ask for a cover. Thanks for the info all. 52 days and counting! :)

I was on a couple of cruises with Ocruisers in January and we certainly had the new pillow top mattress on our bed. However, we do still ask for the topper as it makes it just a bit easier for Dudette to get out of bed.
