melissacruise Posted July 21, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2015 I'm taking my first cruise on RCI OASIS (last cruised 10 years ago). A couple of questions: 1. Are the exercise activities listed on the Compass Free if there is no ($) on it? I saw classes such as 'stretching' and other exercise activities, some with and some without the $ next to it. I want to make sure no $ means Free class. 2. A phone rep told me that at Vintages, you pay for the drinks, but the tapas are complimentary, is that correct? I love tapas. Could one buy a couple of drinks and eat the tapas as lunch? I'm wondering if they're substantial (like happy hour appetizer that could be filling) or if it's just chips and dip. Any info on the tapas at Vintage will be appreciated. 3. Any take the Flowride lesson? Was it worth the $ (do you recommend it for a teen)? thanks. Correct, if the classes don't have a ($), then they are free.

Clarea Posted July 21, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 21, 2015 I've read that Vintages has ala carte pricing. I believe that is true too. However, you may find them providing some tapas without extra charge if you buy a nice ($$$) bottle of wine.

liberiben Posted July 21, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 21, 2015 And the flowrider lessons are hit or miss. We have been and gotten great lessons and we have been and only gotten to go 3 times maybe because they favored the boogie boarders over the stand up riders. Capella Black Posted July 21, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 21, 2015 Only answering for vintages on another class of ship, but we were given free tapas while drinking wine from our drinks package. We did also tip...
