JW Marriott or Homewood Suites Miami-Brickell

I have been searching on LMT Club for a hotel downtown Miami for next April, and I keep coming back to: JW Marriott for $157 US/night and Homewood Suites Miami-Brickell $117 US/night (includes free hot breakfast) - this is a new hotel opening in November 2015.

Is anyone else booked at this particular hotel for 2016? I think both hotels are in the same area, walking distance to food, etc is important for us.

 

Has anyone stayed at the JW Marriott recently?

 

We stayed at the Holiday Inn POM last cruise, and it is very expensive for our dates right now.
