Paying for an upgrade to a Sky Suite - more CC points?

Every reason to upgrade is Luminea . That restaurant is exceptional .The extra space in the sky suite is awesome too.

I'm still mulling over it. With the OBC that my TA is giving us, if we switch to the Sky Suite and choose the beverage package for two, the OBC that the TA is giving would cover gratuities for all three of us and the only thing we are out of which we did get under the 123Go promotion would be the OBC of usd300.

Usd300 is not a small amount but after the TA's OBC goes towards the gratuities, we will still have something in excess of usd100 in OBC so we are thinking we could still work around it, especially as we don't go to the casino, don't intend to book excursions onboard and dining in the Specialty restaurants is included twice during our cruise. In addition, the child gets 40 min Internet which we can use and a non alcoholic package for herself which we can use to get her water.

I'm thinking all in it's not such a bad deal for usd3300 extra for 3 persons for 14 days, no?

Go for it if only for the extra cabin room. ;)

I stayed in a SS last March with my two daughters. We originally had a standard balcony room. After seeing the old room, I knew that I had made the correct choice to upgrade to a larger stateroom.

You don't say how old your child is, but the SS has a pull out bed that was very uncomfortable for an adult. On the 2nd day I had the steward make up a bed on top of the couch instead of folding it out. Much better!

You're such an enabler :) I will discuss with DH and make a decision soon. Our daughter will be about 5 years old at that time but we are expecting another child who will be about 14 months by that time. She's booked into a balcony room with my inlaws but we intend for her to sleep with us too. I'm guessing DH will be the one sleeping on the couch! ;)

 - You definitely need to get the Sky Suite, then! However, you should book the baby in your stateroom.

Put our 5 year old on the couch (not very long), you and DH have the bed(s) and you will have plenty of room for a Pack n Play.
