sleepless Posted July 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2015 It has been a few years since I have been on the Explorer of the Seas. We will be on her for a Cruise to Alaska in July of 2016. What changes have been made to the Explorer? Have the common areas changed much? What about the eating areas. Thanks.

Ken at the beach Posted August 15, 2015 #11 Share Posted August 15, 2015 What is Izuma and Sabor? Izumi is a specialty Sushi restaurant and Sabor is a specialty Mexican restaurant. As mentioned in another post it was already noted that there is no Sabor on the Explorer.
sky0000547 Posted August 15, 2015 #12 Share Posted August 15, 2015 I'm on the Explorer now and Sabor is definitely not onboard. Izumi is located up in the Viking Crown Lounge.

As mentioned in another post it was already noted that there is no Sabor on the Explorer. That's okay as I'm sailing the Indy in Nov. It's just been 7 years since I've sailed RCCL and had never heard of these restaurants. Thanks for the info.
