Best options with a toddler?

Hi there!

My son will be 2.5 by the time we cruise (1st week of Feb) I know he won't be able to do most of the excursions. What will we be able to do with him? Has anyone done any excursions with a toddler?

Thanks in advance!

Others with children might opine, but I'd say your best bet is to just hang on the beach around the cruise center. They have loungers, shade and water is shallow for wading, sandy bottom, no need for water shoes.

We are big fans of Jack's Shack.

It's a little walk down the beach, but has a very relaxed atmosphere. If you are a dog person, there is the famous Topher to play with. Jacks also has some large bathrooms which can be useful with a toddler.

We have been taking our kids there since they were 6. (Yes, they are older but that was the first time we got to GT).

Umbrellas and chairs are available so there is some shade.
