Printing luggage tags

Sailing on the Getaway 8/1 and just printed out E docs and luggage tags. Is it ok to use just Black ink, or do they need to be printed in color? Will attach to our luggage morning of cruise in the hotel.

Black and white is fine, it has your cabin info on the tag...

Black and white should be fine, but I always do the following just to be sure there's no issues:

 

• Print them in color.
  
• Put my name address and cell phone number on each tag.
  
• Cover them with packing tape so if they get wet, they won't smear.
  
• Use a color laser printer instead of inkjet, if available. Inkjet printouts are more susceptible to smear if it gets wet.

I go over the color with hi-lighter to emphasize. It helped that my zone was pink.

The tags always appear to be color coded a specific color for each ship. Must assist in loading when several NCL ships are in port at the same time.
