Oxo Posted July 31, 2015 #26 Share Posted July 31, 2015 Hi, (First post here, yay) Anyway, we're travelling on the Diamond in Sept and my daughter asked the question: "If we're paying Adult prices for everything does that mean we can go in the Adult Only area? (ie the Sanctuary)" She's 14 and I thought it was a fairly good question. Knowing some Countries don't class anyone under 21 as an Adult, the 'legal' age in Oz for Alcohol is 18. So, yeah, if she's paying the same as any Adult then WHY can't she go in the Sanctuary area? Rock Stop and think and answer your own question(s.) What does Adult Only mean? Countries don't classify anyone under 21 as an Adult. You have two choices: 1. respect the Adult Only signs or 2. Go on another cruise line if you think they will allow your 14 year old in an Adult Only area. What is wrong with accepting the rules? Why should they break the rules for you or anyone else just because...........
john watson Posted July 31, 2015 #27 Share Posted July 31, 2015 (edited) Clunky wording on the Princess website does not translate to minors can go into the Sanctuary, casino, or drink cocktails in Skywalkers. I never said this wording might be interpreted as meaning that minors might be able to go into the Sanctuary, casino or drink cocktails in Skywalkers. My point is that if you say fares are per person based on two adults sharing that it may be inferred that if it were an adult and a child then a different fare may be applicable.
