Rosethorn40 Posted August 1, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2015 DH & I went on a European Christmas Market cruise this past December and loved it. Sounds like they have worked with local tourism to ensure a festive and fun experience. Would be nice not to have to endure the long flight to Europe. Calliope Posted August 4, 2015 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2015 I wouldn't count on any snow on the AMERICAN QUEEN's Christmas market trips, but don't be surprised if there is ice on the deck in the mornings. When the sun comes out it quickly melts though. Trust me; that does happen during wintertime down south. Many a morn when I was Watchman on the DELTA QUEEN, and before getting off my watch at 6 AM, I would slide around the decks.
