St. George's is at the opposite end of Bermuda from the Royal Naval Dockyard. The best way to get there (other than a $75 or higher taxi ride) is via the Orange Route ferry, which takes about 45 minutes. But that ferry only makes a limited number of daytime runs. It doesn't run at the time of day you want to go. A combination of Blue Route ferry to Hamilton and then bus to St. George's will take at least 90 minutes. It doesn't make much sense to go there in the evening anyway, unless you're planning to eat dinner at a local restaurant. Nothing else is going to be open. The bottom line is that if you want to get to St. George's...and I certainly recommend it...you have to make it a morning/early afternoon journey. Cornishpastyman1 Posted August 7, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2015 Thank you so much for the advice! I'm going to rethink the plan & take this into account. Maybe do it on day 3. Thanks again for the the heads up! This was last month, and sort of shows how you can get around the 3 towns and to some of the beaches. I used the 2 day ferry/bus ticket ($31.50) All the best, Tony
