We visited half moon cay a few years back and loved it. Plenty of chairs and soft sand, beautiful blue water and umbrella drinks! They served a tasty lunch at no charge too. I liked that you could spend $$$ on an excursion if you wanted, or just relax and enjoy for the cost of drinks.

Hope you enjoy

I will also be sailing on Victory Aug 22. We are 2 women, who have been friends since 3rd grade. We are both 70 now, but still young at heart. We have reserved a cabana for Half Moon Cay, and would love to have 2 more adults, to share the day and the cost with us.

Anyone interested?

On board ship musts: Tea at 3:00 on sea days. Anything that Marcello is running. He is the funniest cruise director. If you are over twenty one hang out in the Serenity Hot Tub area. It is the quietest place on the ship except for outside deck 3. Not much else. We were a little board on sea days and spent time hanging in the dining room talking to others.

Things to bring on board: stickers for your door so you can find your room and not walk past it 20 times.

Just off the ship Saturday.

Just off the Victory a few days ago.

On board, check out Music Asia. The are a group playing in the casino most nights. Pretty good and played just about anything you can think of.

Alchemy Bar is awesome. Ioana had us off the menu by the second night. We just told her what we like and she would create something on the fly.

We didn't care much for the show we saw (livin in America, I think). All I could think of was that it belonged in a low-budget theme park around the early 90s. The show was about an hour long and felt like 2 hours.

Love and Marriage show was funny. I think that one really depends on who Marcello gets to participate.

Serenity on our cruise was always packed. Almost impossible to get a chair most times.

We had FTTF and that was nice. Got us on the ship quickly and was really worth it at guest services. There was almost always a line and the FTTF/diamond window was usually empty or only had one person waiting.

If you like playing cards ask for a deck at guest services. They still hand out free decks if you ask.

Food in MDR was good, Lido buffet was usually a chaotic nightmare during the day.

Dr Suess breakfast is alot of fun even if you don't have kids (we don't).

Overall, it is a good ship. No big wow factor but we didn't want one on this cruise. We were pretty happy just hanging out on the room balcony or on deck in the day and listening to some good music in the evenings.
