Booking a cruise

Like Keith said, it just depends on what you are wanting. Do you just want to make it on the ship? If you don't care what kind of room you get, the location, or the itinerary, you can book the cruise the last few days before it sets sail.

But if you are more particular you would likely want to start looking a few months out. The better rooms, ships and itineraries are going to sell out faster
