Spaniel Lover Posted August 20, 2015 #26 Share Posted August 20, 2015 How long ago did they add a Guy's Burger Joint to the Carnival Pride? I must have missed that little detail! Correct me if I'm wrong... but I think that would be the only Spirit-class ship with a Guy's Burger Joint.
w&k Posted August 20, 2015 #27 Share Posted August 20, 2015 then add super-melty cheese, bacon, mushrooms, peppers, and BBQ sauce! Crud... now I'm hungry! ;) Wendy
RiotAct Posted August 20, 2015 #28 Share Posted August 20, 2015 LOVE the mushrooms too... don't put them on my burger, I just eat them as my healthy veggie on the side LOL! Eating the mushrooms negates all the calories in the burger, right?:D Yea it does!
TheTravelista Posted August 20, 2015 #29 Share Posted August 20, 2015 I'm keep it pretty simple. I get a burger with cheese, head over to the toppings bar and add lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and ketchup. I have 3-4 of these on a 7 day cruise I'm going to try the ringer and the pig patty next cruise. Guy's Burgers is the best thing Carnival has done in years. Out to sea! Posted August 20, 2015 #30 Share Posted August 20, 2015 lettuce tomato and onion and remove onion ring so it doesnt get soggy and pickles on the side. As an FYI, you can ask for the O ring on the side if you want. You can also ask for a non-Ringer burger and ask for an O ring (though they will usually just give you one). silvercrikhix Posted August 20, 2015 #32 Share Posted August 20, 2015 A cheeseburger ordered and the bacon chunks, ketchup & a ton of the shaved, spiral cut raw onions. I am very smitten with those onions!! Do not think I have ever seen them like this before....soooo good :p
jcearth Posted August 20, 2015 #33 Share Posted August 20, 2015 I start with a double and add chili -- so so good - it just melts in your mouth. 2000 is a bit overestimating for calorie count. A plain jane Guy's burger with cheese is probably in the neighborhood of 600 calories, but with all the different toppings you get get up to 900 easy. JawjaFatBoy Posted August 20, 2015 #34 Share Posted August 20, 2015 Pig patty with extra cheese, sauteed mushrooms and onions, pickles, lettuce, ketchup, mustard and heavy on the hot sauce! Yowza! Delicious! Going to dearly miss Guy's on the Valor next month! :(
KatieCharlotte Posted August 20, 2015 #35 Share Posted August 20, 2015 What you do is, grab the burger with cheese and bacon, then head over the the Blue Iguana and add the toppings over there! To.Die.For. About to do the Single Digit Dance in the morning! Wait. Does that mean I could put sour cream on my bacon and mushroom cheeseburger? :D

Jenny in TX Posted August 20, 2015 #40 Share Posted August 20, 2015 The Ringer with no onions. Then we add bacon to it. We get chipotle mayo to dip our fries in...its awesome and I don't even like mayo. DH and I split a burger from Guy's almost every day for lunch on our last cruise! katiel53 Posted August 20, 2015 #41 Share Posted August 20, 2015 I don't stack them as I don't eat them. I tried them twice and both times the outsides were crispy and I don't like them that way. They were hard on the outside even though they were recently taken off the grill. I don't mind though as there are many other places to eat. riclop Posted August 21, 2015 #44 Share Posted August 21, 2015 We will be on the pride in Oct and heard a lot a people say how good the guys burgers are and all the different condiments they have . How do you stack your Guys Burger ? They are the most over-hyped burger in the world. Bring an empty bottle and you will have grease for a year to bring home. It is against US Customs regulations to bring non-factory sealed food products off of the ship.
kelkel2 Posted August 21, 2015 #47 Share Posted August 21, 2015 Pig Patty as many times as I can Ok, I'm guilty too! I loved the piggy patty. I added cheese to mine along with lettuce and onion. So good and I can not wait to have one in January!!!
Sparky2 Posted August 21, 2015 #48 Share Posted August 21, 2015 We will be on the pride in Oct and heard a lot a people say how good the guys burgers are and all the different condiments they have . How do you stack your Guys Burger ? Plain Jane for my husband and he then adds ketchup. My choice is the pig patty, but I ask them to leave off the tomato & all that lettuce as I can't get my mouth around it. I then add ketchup. Sparky2 Posted August 21, 2015 #49 Share Posted August 21, 2015 never had one but they must have 2000 calories. heart attack on a bun We only do B2Bs now - 14 days. I have 1 & 1/2 each cruise for that reason. Yummy but too many calories & cholesterol.

A good hamburger should be thick, juicy and medium to medium rare. Not cooked one step below charcoal.:D
