Are you looking for someone to just guide you? In other words, are you going to get yourself to/from Pompeii?

If not, then you'll need a driver plus a guide -- this is generally how it's arranged in Italy.

It's easy to get yourself to Pompeii using local transport (express bus or local train, both discussed frequently in posts on this board).

Most guides meet you at the gate and provide about a 2 hour tour of the site for 100 euro, give or take (for a private group of up to 10 people).

Often you will find guides at the gate getting together small groups of people -- in which case, you'd only have to chip in your share (e.g., 10 euro each if there are 10 people).
