TV Stations on Enchantment of the Seas

Recommended Posts

I know this question has probably been asked a thousand times, but I don't know where to find the info. My question is about TV stations on the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas, cruise ship.

We are going on the cruise leaving September 25th, and returning September 28th, 2015. I was also planning on attending the Tennessee vs. Florida college football game in September, before realizing that the game is scheduled this year on the 26th, when I will be on the cruise. This is the first time I ever remember this game being scheduled on the 4th Saturday in September, but that is how it goes for me. Since I had the cruise booked already, I will not be able to attend the game.

I was wondering if the TV in our room, will have CBS available, as this is the network that typically carries the game? If not, is there any place on the ship, that will have a TV, that will be carrying that game?

Any help I can get with this question, will be appreciated.

I have never been on a RCL ship that had a CBS channel.

Channels are typically: TNT, TBS, ESPN, CNN (HL?), FOXN, CNBC, Disney, ABC Family, HBO, etc. Below is a listing of the channels from my last cruise (different ship). Listings can differ slightly ship to ship based on generation of equipment onboard.

That being said, check with the cruise activities staff (led by Asst Cruise Director) for programming poolside.

And consider the use of a DVR at home. I can enjoy the playback of my home DVR anywhere with internet connectivity. (It works really well allowing us to keep up with sports and TV shows while aboard! We seldom watch anything realtime. Always recorded.

Having cruised mostly Royal, but also Celebrity, Disney & Princess, I'd say Royal has the worst selection of tv stations. That being said, like most people I don't go cruising to watch tv, but its nice to have some basics. As a mainly baseball fan (who'll be cruising during the 1st round of playoffs!), I can usually get scores and info from their ESPN feed, although that feed is often international (soccer, cricket, etc.).

Royal will play what they feel are the most important sporting events; hopefully your game will be one they deem worth broadcasting. And one other note: the sports bar and the Casino are usually the best place to look if they're not on your cabin tv.

Thanks for the info. I was afraid that they wouldn't, but was hoping they would.

We will be in Nassau that day, so I'm thinking now that I might can find a sports grill in Nassau, that might possibly have multiple TVs. Not sure if I will be fortunate enough to find what I'm looking for, or not.
