Self Debarkation Time

Is there a certain time that you have to be off the ship if you self debark? We'll be on the Freedom.

They would prefer that you leave before they call the folks with luggage tags, but I've not seen them stop the self-assist people from leaving later.

Does anyone know what time on Freedom they start letting those with tags off? I'd like to be off early, but don't want to line up at 6:30am, we're not in that much of a rush.

Usually within 45 minutes of scheduled arrival time.

Arrival time is 6am, so they'll start letting the masses off around 6:45am? If that's the case perhaps we'll just wait. I'd just like to be off by 7:30 - 8:00.

I'd still go with self-assist if you need to get away early. You never know what kind of delay that customs will create.

From my May Freedom Cruise:

Self Assist was scheduled for 7:00 - 10:00 am, tag #1 was scheduled for 7:30 am, last tag at 10:00 am.

On our cruise they started self assist a little early at 6:45 am. People started lining up at 6:15 am by the rear elevators.

It went quick and we were in our car by 7:10 am for the eleven hour drive home.

They ask that if you're taking your own luggage off to do it first, or wait until all other passengers are off. And I have seen them pulling people aside trying to wheel their big bags off while others are getting off. BIG advantage to getting off early is customs lines are shorter.
