I bring ear plugs and use them when ever we go out to hear music. I even use them at movies now a days. It make it enjoyable. It's better than walking out because it's too loud.

I wonder if HAL picked up a following from having chartered some of their ships out for the "Blues Cruises" We went on one. We are looking forward to the BB King review.

There's a type of ear plugs called High Fidelity Hear-Os. They are frequency neutral, which means that you hear all the frequencies, just at a lower volume. They're popular with musicians and concert sound engineers. They're reusable and a pair runs about $10 on Amazon.

Great suggestion! Thanks.

Don't blame HAL too much for the music being too loud. Just about every modern/hip music venue is too loud. Wearing earplugs is better than missing out on the performance.

These earplugs costs more but seem to be highly recommended by users who go to music concerts that are too loud:

Apparently the sound distortion is minimal and people wearing them can still talk to each other.

Per HAL's website, the B B King Blues Club is on the Rotterdam, Zuiderdam, Oosterdam, Westerdam, Noordam, Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, and will be on the Konigsdam.

This happens in the Queen's lounge and it will have a second floor on the Koingsdam
