linbobky Posted September 9, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2015 in my case, it is cheaper to buy the drinks and forget about the slots.:) I never even got close to 1500 points.

RaiderCruiser Posted September 9, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 9, 2015 Nice thing, they will track you down with the card when you hit the number. You don't have to go find them!

springs741 Posted September 10, 2015 #14 Share Posted September 10, 2015 On slot machines $2.50 equal one point. It takes 1500 points on a 7 day or greater cruise to get the DOU card.

I had to go find them the first night. The second day of the cruise, the host found me and said, "Oh, I was going to bring you your card, but you already have it." Vitamin_Sea Posted September 10, 2015 #16 Share Posted September 10, 2015 or put $20 in the slot machine, hit 75, play it down to 30, hit 325 play it up and down to 600, play it down to 360 hit another 400 play it up and down, until that $20 bill gets you your free DOU card!!! Yes right.... CCL bets that wont happen to most people. did you notice I said "bad luck" in the post you quoted?

I'm thinking about using 1 card only as we never get the free drinks. thanks I wish I were as lucky as some of the people who get the card right away. I have gotten it on some ships, but it's been near the end of the week. As far as using one card, sorry but that won't work. Each S&S card has it's own number and the machines recognize the cards. If you said you lost your card to get a new one, the old one is made inactive so it wouldn't work. I'm sure that if a couple could use just one card, there would be a lot of people cruising Carnival that would be doing that. Carnival has more people trying to beat the systems, in all ways, than any other cruise line I have sailed. Most times Carnival is one step ahead though not always. path145 Posted September 10, 2015 #18 Share Posted September 10, 2015 On my last cruise I got the card on the 2nd day plus came home with $250 more than I started with. Also was offered a bounce back cruise for $100 total for 2 people plus $100 OBC so... Free. Had the bounce back cruise booked but my dad was put in hospice 2 days before we left so we had to cancel. Hoping I get another bounce back opportunity on our upcoming cruise.
