alinicus Posted September 10, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2015 My family and I (Me, DW, DD(6) and DS(4)) are booked on the Anthem in January. Can't wait! We always take advantage of the kids' programs on any ship we are on and the kids love them. This time, however, our kids' ages (4 and 6) mean they will be in separate categories. Normally not a bog deal but my DD would really struggle with anxiety if they weren't together. Does anyone know if there is flexibility with putting kids together? She will gladly go in the 3-5 (she will have just turned 6 anyway) group, I'm sure. Any insight? Thanks in advance!!!
Rare Cayman Turtle Posted September 10, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2015 My kids, who are also two years apart in age, have been in the same situation. In one case, there weren't that many kids on board so everyone ended up in one group anyway. If you are travelling off season this may also be the case for you. If not, just ask at AO. I've never had a problem having both kids in one group even if they aren't of the right age to be together.

Merion_Mom Posted September 10, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2015 Thanks!!:) Makes me feel better. I did reach out to RCCL and I'm waiting to hear back. In the most general sense, they are much more open to a child "going down" a level, rather than a child going into an older group. They are also quite understanding about siblings. Most likely, you will be "good to go." :) By the way, forget about "hearing back from RC." It's on board that counts. ;)
