Ruth Posted September 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2015 Can anyone tell me if they have ever booked a Day Room or Day Pass because they have a late flight out of Tahiti. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Belle Posted September 19, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2015 Read on Princess if you book their shuttle to the airport they let you stay on the ship till evening and time to leave. Have to be out of your room and eat in the buffet (so oncoming passengers can use the dining room) You can use the pool, public rooms. They hold your suitcases for you. Think your carry on's too in special area.
Jokelady Posted September 25, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Ruth I just booked it today. The previous poster is correct. You can stay on the ship and they will store your luggage. You can eat on the ship and wander off if you like. You will use your transfer to the airport pass to get back on the ship as your key card wont work. stromer Posted October 5, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2015 I too will be getting off our cruise in Tahiti but we will be on the Oceania Marina and will probably be on a late evening flight to Lax in Mar 2016. Any recommendations on where to get a day room and the price. Thanks, Rick

Mercruiser Posted October 8, 2015 #7 Share Posted October 8, 2015 I don't have any experience with the day room idea. But if that does not work out, here is another option. Rent a car from Avis and tour the island. Keep your luggage in the boot. Search for "Avis" on this forum and you will find numerous threads on this approach.
