We had an absolutely wonderful cruise! It was flawless! We arrived at the pier at 10:30 and were escorted to the shorter line after bags were checked in, because we had a suite and were platinum . We were on the ship by noon. Our cabin was ready by 1 and luggage was there by 3.

The crew was phenomenal! We have decided that this was the best cruise we have had so far because of the people we met and the crew. Nothing was too much for them and we were always greeted with a smile.

Giovanni's was wonderful. We ate there three nights. Win djammer was the windjammer; no better and no worse than other ships.

We had the premium package and it was not a waste of money at all. Aside from the drinks, it was great to get bottles of water whenever we wanted them

St Martin we went to beach in Philipsburg. Went there by water taxi and got umbrella, chairs and bucket of drinks. Beautiful!

St Kitts - that is a secret LOL!

St Lucia - Spencer Ambrose Jalosie Beach Break! Absolutely the BEST!!!! Speedboat ride around the island to the Sugar Bay resort right between the Pitons. Drinks and fabulous lunch of homemade island specialities. Crew was so accomodating constantly asking if we needed anything. After three hours on the beach we returned via our speedboat and were taken tto marigot bay an also saw some fishing villages. The crew constantly gave us history and interesting anecdotes

Antigua it rained all day

Barbados -Boatyard where the water is the clearest we have ever seen and the sand is like baby powder

The one downside was that we had a really really terrible cabin steward!

Hi mlmbar -

Great readings on your thoughts of your adventure on the "AOS"

We're doing the one island opposite of your sailing. We're big time RCCL cruisers. This will be our 18th cruise w/ them. 5th w/ "AOS". I picked this due to the many island visits.

One of our excursions I picked was also the" Spencer Ambrose Tours". We're doing exactly the same as you. Boy am I glad on reading your reviews on your dealings with them. I did read up ALOT on them & all the great reviews. How was the lounge situation ??????? That's my one & only concern - being, our friends have left me the one to book all our excursions ( their only newbie cruisers 2nd cruise & have never traveled outside of the good old USA, we finally turned then on to their 1st cruise on the Freedom of the Seas October 2013 )

We have them hooked on cruising now.

I did read about them stating no promises on lounge chairs. So I did inform my friends of this so there's no surprises & they look at me and have something to say.

I'm just hoping that we get there early & also just get a jump on other groups showing up. Do you remember what time they had you back?

I honestly can't wait ' till this trip. Need to just get a way unwind have fun w/ our friends & mucho mucho mucho DRINKS PALM TREES WHITE SAND BETWEEN MY TOES etc. . . . 🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴👙💕😎🍹🐠🎉☀️🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴

Again, Thanks for your great thoughts on your sailing💁🏻

Hi Nicksmom82- I think we met ( my memory tells me "Chris"?) on maybe the Liberty Of The Seas in 2012 at the Sailaway?? I see you are doing the AOS..we are going 11/14 to St.Thomas, Antigua, St. Croix, St. Lucia & Grenada..is that the one you are doing? If so, let me know & when are you going?

Big Al

Great report! We toured with Spencer once in St Lucia it was also great. We've been to Antiqua three times and it rained most of the day twice:D We'll be in Barbados for a week soon - staying near the Boatyard it's a beautiful location. Glad you had a good trip :)

We were the first ones at the beach and the crew said that they do try to get there before the others arrive. A warning- the chairs are old, dirty and som have a broken strap. BUT, you have your towel from the ship (maybe get two) and once you take in the view and a rum punch or two, you won't care. LOL! Seriously, the water and the view are so magnificent that the chairs are a non issue. There are these awesome round floats in the water that you can lay on and just take in the view. There were also very few people there from the resort. Off season is a wonderful time to travel. Spencer came later in the day on another excursion and we spoke to him for a bit, He is a wonderful man totally dedicated to providing the best tours. We arrived back at 3 and boarding was at 4:30. Hope you have a wonderful time!
