dallas16 Posted September 23, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) Azura is due to dock in Monaco according to the cruise schedule. The dock should be wheelchair friendly to get you around the port and to the exit and you should be able to explore easily Edited September 23, 2015 by dallas16
Mysticalmother Posted September 23, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2015 The itinerary on P & O's website shows "possible tender" For Monte Carlo for your cruise. If that happens then you may not be able to go ashore if you need a wheelchair . We went to Monte Carlo in May on Azura and this was a tender port for us. Hope for your sake you actually dock. kevinyork Posted September 25, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Weve had docked ports and tender ports on P&O and never had an issue with a wheelchair companion. They are well set up for it. Also weve never had to tender into Monte Carlo so do think its very unlikely for you. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Happy People Posted September 25, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Thank you for that although my wife does need a wheel chair to get about she would be able to get on a tender ( she can walk short distances), as long as we would be able to take the wheel chair on the tender. :) :D
stocktonmackem Posted September 26, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 26, 2015 If you manage to get ashore look out for all the lifts which make things much easier to get up to the top levels. Google accessible Monaco and it will point you in the right direction. We managed to get upto the Palace and Cathedral with relative ease by using the lifts.
