Does anyone know who is the new QM2 Captain J C Carr listed on Cunard's FAQ's?

We're on QM2 from Southampton to Sydney Jan 2016 and interested to know, having sailed with Captain Keven Oprey back from Sydney in 2013, and more recently Captain Wells, but this one is new to us.

He was/is from P&O Britannia

Many thanks for that. Is he the same "Charlie Carr" from P&O?

I would think so, he was the Captain when we sailed on Ventura last year - for those of haven't met him, here is a video made when he was working for Carnival in Australia

 

 

Earlier in the year Captain AJ Draper was shown as a "new" Captain on the Cunard website but he seems to have disappeared already !
