MNelson486 Posted October 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2015 I am booked early saver -- the current sale price is higher then I paid but with the $50 credit it would be less. So can I price match and pay $30 more for the cruise to get the credit? Then once the sale is over, I could price match down to my original price. In other words -- I paid $767. Price is now $797 + $50 credit. Can I price match to $797, get the credit -- and when the sale is over, price match down to $777 which is what the price has been for weeks and keep the $50 credit? Hope that makes sense! Missy
ready2cruzagain Posted October 1, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2015 (edited) You can price match but not the way you want to. You can price match to the $797, not pay anything and get the obc of $30, not $50 (because you do not pay anything, they give you a credit of $30). Once the sale is over you are still lower than your $777 and so you cannot price match to that $777. You would have to find a price lower than $747 to price match to because that is what your rate would be. $797 + $50 obc is a rate of $747 If you later find a price lower than $747 lets say $727 but no obc then you could price match to that but you would lose the $30 obc that you had. Hope this makes sense. Edited October 1, 2015 by ready2cruzagain
bury me at sea Posted October 1, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2015 You can price match to the new rate and get the OBC. If the price drops later you can again price match, but you would lose the OBC unless the new price structure also includes the OBC offer.

applegam Posted October 1, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2015 You can price match up until you make your final payment. At that point if the price goes lower, you will get the difference in OBC.
apatchetear Posted October 1, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 1, 2015 You may have to pay the rest of the deposit if you booked under the reduced deposit sale. We price matched to get OBC and when we did, it made the rest of the regular deposit due. We went ahead and paid it to get the OBC because the money would have had to been paid anyway.
