Departing from LA on Carnival - is time listed on cruise itinerary Pacific or Hawaii?

We will be in a 15-day round-trip Hawiian cruise from LA on Carnival. I know Carnival typically stays on the time zone for the departure port. Since there is such a big time difference, is this the case with Hawiian cruises as well? It just occurred to me while looking at tours, that the arrival and departure time listed on our itenerary might not be the same as local time. Any insight is appreciated!

The Kahului (Maui) harbor schedule shows a Carnival ship arriving at 10 a.m. on January 21st and departing at 11 p.m. That would be Hawaii time. If the itinerary you received from Carnival shows those same hours, then the ship is working on Hawaii time over here.

Those are the time shown by Carnival. Thanks so much!

On our three Hawaiian cruises (on Princess)' date=' the clocks were changed one hour per night, starting on the second or third night. The reverse happened on the way back.[/quote']

Thanks! I was wondering how and when they would do the time change.

On our recent cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii, we went back an hour every other night on the way down. We received 4 extra hours from Royal that we did not have to give back... [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1] We did give them back to US Air on the way home later, but we were okay with that! [emoji1] Best. Cruise. Ever!
