We had dinner reservations at Ocean Blue. DH was having a cigarette outside, it was too cold for me, so I sat inside and checked in for our flight the next morning:(

I liked Ocean Blue, my husband like most of it. I thought the service was a little over-formal.

My cruise is a week away. I want to start packing but I don't want my dog to see the suit case :)

 

 

My dd had a wonderful idea that we now use. When the suitcase is out, we take a sheet and just put it over the suitcase. Maybe your dog is smarter than mine but with the sheet over it he has no clue lol

Unfortunately, I think my mood seems to change, because two weeks before hand they started giving me the look, the only thing that was different was that we were getting closer to vacation.

After dinner, I tried to listen to some music and everyone else had the same idea, so I went back to the casino. I wasn't winning and had the last $30, I was going to spend. I was playing on the 2 cent quick hit machine, and then it hit again, another $3,000. They paid out the money, gave me the IRS form, I tipped the attendant, I played a little while longer and went back to the room to celebrate, I planned on getting in the jacuzzi and having the sparkling wine we had not drunk yet.

 

 

DH was in bed, we ordered room service. He then fell asleep and would not wake back up. Mac and Chz and Grilled Chz.

Woke up early to have the last Breakfast in the Haven:

 

 

I did not ask for bacon, but they gave it to me, maybe as a consolation for forcing em to go home?

 

 

We were escorted off the ship by the concierge. One of the quickest debarkations, we were at JFK with plenty of time. I get home exhausted

I read through your whole review and congrats (in retrospect) on your amazing luck in the casino! Don't know if you will see this...but at the very beginning you mentioned an absurdly low price ($81?) for extended parking in NYC. My question is....where was that?

This was an amazing review and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I too am a planner. DH just waits for me to give him the highlights. I typically print some this out for him to read in our flight. In this case we will be leaving from NY on the breakaway on 5/29. I can't wait. So I guess he will read while we are lounging. I'm holding out in the hope for a reasonably priced upset like for haven spa suite. Question what cabin were you in. Trying to determine which one we will select if we are lucky enough for affordable up sell. I've read here that port side is best due to gym on starboard and I hear some port cabins have a pole which I'm looking to avoid and then I hear there are a couple cabins next to facilities closet which have carts and door slams that are intrusive. Any feedback in your cabin would be appreciated.
