The plan was to go to Frog and Onion for dinner, but DH did not want to. It was 9:30 and most restaurants closed at 10. I went to La Cucina if they had availability and they sat me.

 

 

 

 

Lobster Fra Diavlo, you could order spicy or not, it was an upcharge, but included in the UDP.

 

 

 

I went to Howl at the Moon but as it was standing room only, I only stayed for a couple of songs..

I had not been to La Cucina in over 18 months and forgot about them, now that I think about it, they were good.

I hope so. I could just eat the bread with the oils and be happy. Why does NCL take away all the good stuff!!

I went in the water twice, and it was a little too cold for me, my husband decided after touching my swimsuit it was too cold and he would not get in at all. We stayed for a few hours and I got a headache and we were paying premium prices for the drinks, whereas we had the UBP on the ship, so we headed back.

I think it was fine, the first time in the water, I saw a bunch of different fish, the second time it was low tide and not that many. I would have liked to have gone to HSB, but when we booked the shore excursion our time to leave was supposed to be at 3, so we wanted to stay closer to the ship. Not the best beach, but i liked that it was surrounded by a fort.

We had dinner at Le Bistro, I think some of the best food on the ship, but the service was lacking. When we were first seated they were packed and i understood, but as the meal went on the restaurant cleared out. We sat with dirty dishes in front of us for quite a while and only one other table in the area.

I had a glass of Veuve Cliquot, it was $9 a glass or $89 a bottle, it was not included in the UBP. My escargot.

I had planned on going to the 80s party at spice at 10:30. It was one of my husbands hangouts, so I would meet him up there. I went to the Elton John/Billy Joel tribute at Shakers, but it was packed. I went to the casino, after playing for a while, I won a $3,000 jackpot on the quickhit machine with 8 of the symbols. After hitting the service button and sitting for a while, with no response, I finally flagged someone down. He said I needed my id and watched the machien while I got it. I took the elevators up 7 floors and back up 7 floors. He paid me the money in cash and gave me the IRS form, I tipped him $40. He told me he hoped I won again.

 

Before meeting up with my husband, I went to the room to put the money up. There was a towel animal and a time change notice, woo-hoo an extra hour of sleep.

We left after a while and had celebratory rooms service from the butler. They told us up to 45 minutess, it was more like 10-15. Pizza for me and hot dog and mac and cheese for DH, plus cheesecake for both of us.

I had wanted a hot stone massage, after breakfast I went to the spa to schedule it and they were advertising spa-topia which had the hot stone massage with a facial,
