Cruising with Children - Carnival Legend

We are cruising on Carnival Legend out of Sydney during school term time - wondered if anyone has cruised out of school holiday time previously and if there are many children on the ship? Would like to know if there will be many kids in camp carnival aged 10 to 12 or if it will be lonely for our children?

 

Any other tips for first time cruisers on Carnival Legend - greatly appreciated.... any tips on good deck/room numbers?

Of course there will be a lot less children during the school year, but there will still be enough that your children will make friends. Soooo many children are home schooled now a day.

 

Even on our Carnival Splendor 15 day Hawaiian cruise during the school year, had plenty of children.

There will be enough kids..no worries! So many folks take kids out of school for vacations...especially, at the age of YOUR kids....prior to high school, it's much easier to "make up" work!

Hi CB...just curious, Does your state, VA, allow this? In NJ, schools do not allow this anymore.
