MLife Expired

I took advantage last year and got upgraded to MLife gold by using my Diamond Status on Royal. I booked a trip to Vegas last month using the Gold and got a great discount. I noticed on my MLife Gold card that my Gold Status expires on Sept 30, 2015. I logged in to MLife today and sure enough I'm no longer gold. Back to Shaphire the lowest level.

 

I noticed the Partnership between Royal and MLife is still there but I cannot find any information on how to get my gold back. I also noticed they added Celebrity (I'm elite via Royal) to the MLife partnership.

 

Anyone have information? Google shows the partnership but nothing else. :confused:

Yep you have to call to get it done or visit. We always have to get our cards renewed when we visit Vegas.

Comparing the two programs, it looks like:

 

RCI Platinum = Mlife Pearl

RCI Emerald/Diamond = Mlife Gold

RCI Diamond+ = Mlife Platinum

RCI Pinnacle = Mlife Noir

 

It's not exact, but it's close. There are some additional Mlife perks that are only for Mlife Members

Also, when you dial that number which options do you select to get through to a real person the quickest?

Thank you for posting about the status match renewal. I have a cruise coming up and had forgotten to do this for this year.

 

All status matched C&A members with MLife actually need to renew each October 1st to maintain status at the matched level.

 

While calling is a great option, one can also send them an email stating your C&A level and membership number and they update it quite quickly as well.

I'm not sure what you press as I only call it a few months before I cruise to get my Mlife attached to my RCI cruise. You want to make sure you are talking to the Club Royale department. Anyone there can help you.

 

That said, if you are also a VIP in the Casino, be sure to ask for the comparison of what perks you will get as you may be better off getting the VIP perks rather than the Mlife status perks. When you are a VIP, you often get cash back when you check in with the Casino Host (bases on the play from your previous cruise). If you are not VIP, then obviously, just take whatever they give you! What they give all depends on what Mlife level you are at. But remember, they are not combinable. You have to pick one or the other. So ask questions, they are very helpful.

 

If you are wondering why it Mlife expires Oct. 1st every year, all Mlife members are set back to 0 (Sapphire) on this date. For the members to keep getting offers (ie free rooms, free play, resort credit....etc), we have to earn it each calendar year. I just came back from Vegas a few weeks ago and and since I was Gold after that trip, I have assured gold status until Oct. 1, 2016. So basically, gives me another year to try to keep it or go up another level. So I may be Gold but my tier credits are at 0 right now.

2 years ago Mlife gold due to Diamond status on RCI, meant free, specialty dinner for two and 5 drinks in the casino for free, just had to find the casino host on the Oasis of the Seas. This year, I got 5 free drinks in the casino and nothing else.

 

What is the current, offering?

It is my understanding that if you receive your MLife status through RCI (diamond Plus) MLife Platinum you get nothing onboard (other than your D+ perks) the ship but you have benefits for the MLife casinos.

 

The casino manager sometimes is not aware that your MLife status is due to C&A RCI staus if you have your MLife card and you may get perks you don't really qualify for onboard.

 

Again, this is my understanding. If it has changed since the inception of the program I stand corrected.
