Oh gosh...very sorry to hear this! Chris was on one of our Expedition cruises but I can't remember with 100% certainty which one. I think it was the most recent one 2 years ago, through the Panama Canal on Silver Explorer. I do remember enjoying his company. He will be missed.

He was just wonderful.

He was on our Alaska cruise on the discoverer. Brilliant guy, acerbic wit. I have pictures of him picking up a piece of glacier ice, he dared us to taste it.

Only some did.

I enjoyed his lectures.

I think I recall his dad was or is a neurosurgeon.

So sorry to learn of his death.

If anyone has further information I would like to express my condolences.

Upon discussing Chris with DrSpin, he recalled Chris told him his dad had written some controversial books, one about the poisoning of a woman who's family was Stanford.

The result was an attempt by the University to suppress the book, because Chris' Dad was on faculty at Stanford.

DrSpin recalls that Chris' Dad was neurologist, not a surge on.
