Help with glacier and dog sledding excursion....please!

For those who have did an excursion like this or plan to do this, where was the most reasonable priced place to do it? We will be in Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway .

We went with Coastal Copters in Juneau. We did the glacier dog sledding with an additional landing further out on the glacier. Absolutely spectacular. The additional landing really put this trip over the top for us. I don't know how the price really compared, but it seems all were very similar in price. We did this excursion after whale watching with Harv & Marv.

It's very easy for you to compare tours offered next year. Between Juneau and Skagway there are only 3 vendors. ERA, TEMSCO and Coastal. Not offered in Ketchikan.

Did the Coastal tour dog sledding with extra landing in Juneau in July. Expensive but spectacular!! Worth every dime. (Paid $580 pp. ) This was a "bucket list ' adventure.

Sorry you are going too late for any glacier dog sledding. The camps will be closed down.

 

Look for a different activity to occupy your time.
