Automatic "gratuities" on drink packages

18% is added and charged to my shipboard account, right? Is it added drink-by-drink or on the daily package charge? And can the accumulated gratuities be paid with OBC supplied by my TA?

If you have a drink package, the gratuities are charged on the package price, and you are charged nothing for drinks included in the package.

 

If you order a drink outside the package, you pay the gratuity on whatever ends up being charged to you.

Yes any drink or gratuities charged to your account may be paid with OBC.

If you do not have a beverage package there is a charge for soft drinks and wine and bottled water and specialty coffees.

No...unless you have a package, no sodas or wine at meals, unless you pay for it.

Yes, you may bring on as many (sealed) nonalcoholic beverages as you'd like, at embarkation or other ports.

Grats on drink packages have 'nothing' to do with the daily grats. They will only be charged if you go over the cost of a drink not covered to the full limit in your pkg.

This is subject to change. Cans with a pop tab are still being allowed, but there has been 'rumblings' that bottles with 'screw on tops' are being looked at very close. Since they have discovered some pax emptying and refilling with 'different kinds of liquid'.:eek:
