Specialty Restaurant Fees

Last time I ate at the Steakhouse and Italian restaurant, I paid then and there.

 

Now, I would like to make a reservation ahead of time. If I put the reservation in now (online), will the charge be on my sail and sign card from the moment I set onboard? Or will I be charged right now and the prices be added to my balance for my upcoming cruise on Carnival.com right now?

 

I'm asking because my boyfriend is paying for this cruise but I don't want him to be charged if I book it now.

Back in March we booked ahead of time but we weren't charged until AFTER we ate dinner there. They charge your sail and sign card and then you can tip extra when you go. Just so you don't pay if you miss reservation.

They have always charged to my sign and sail card after dining in the steakhouse and we always book before cruise.

I'm glad someone asked and answered this. We will be Diamond when we cruise on Pride in March. I was going to make a reservation for steakhouse because we will get a free meal there and was worried if they charged us, I would have to go to Guest Services and have the charge taken off.
