Decided to check airfares after hearing the news reporting lower fares due to lower fuel cost.

For the April/May dates I booked two months ago ($725 pp r/t on Delta and not the $925 I miss-posted), Delta is back down to $767, and others are in the $900's. Couple to few hundred less than two weeks ago.

Don't know if it is temporary or the new normal.

Yes I just checked and the price is down approx. $400 per person for the dates we wanted. The email I got from Delta (I am a Delta Skymiles member) stated that the fares are going to run for 3 days for European flights for spring and summer.

Nice catch cc_rider! I just checked and my flights are down by about $250 from last week. I won't be greedy, I'm booking today. Thanks for posting!
