Carnival Gift Card promotion Black Friday weekend

I found this online. I haven't taken advantage of it myself yet, but I thought some of my CC friends would like to give it shot.

 

Carnival is offering a promotional gift card when you purchase a $300 gift card at: http://www.carnivalgiftcards.com

 

Purchase a $300 gift card and get a $25 promotional card

Purchase a $500 gift card and get a $50 promotional card

 

If you have Carnival credit card, the promotion cards are doubled. The fine print is listed below...

That is a good deal of you use carnival visa. Otherwise,you can save 10% when they do the carnival cards thru verizon and aarp.

 

Atleast with this deal with Carnival you're not using up Verizon rewards points that could be used for a wide variety of other things

How will you get an additional $500 if you're planning on buying 5?

 

5 x $500 = $2500

 

10% of $2500 = $250

 

I'd hate for you to do the math wrong and think you're getting more than what you really get.

 

Forgot you could have a Carnival card so if that's the case enjoy your $500 and my bad

Carnival Master Card owners get double the promotional gift cards per purchase.

Ok. I just didn't want you to be surprised thinking of the numbers wrong. I went on The Pride the first week of December last year and met some people who did the math wrong and felt so stupid and messed up their budgets thinking they were getting an extra $250 in free gift cards.

 

So I was just pointing out the numbers in the case of an oversight.

Yes you can. I will be using them for my gratuities and for any expenditures on my S & S account.

You can actually call Carnival too and pay the gratuities before the cruise with the giftcards.

 

I also got money back with them from the casino as well so if you have enough points you can earn 10%-20% on your money using the gift cards in the casino. And just cashing out. There may be a 3% fee but still it's a good return in a short period of time if you can stock up right before a cruise. No bank savings account or CD is giving that kind of a return. So something to think about.

How fast did they send them out last year? Our cruise is booked for December 5 next year. It says that the promotional cards expire 1 year after being issued and must be spent onboard.

 

It says that promotional cards will be sent out within 2 weeks of the date the promotion ends. Might be a close expiration date for a 12/5/16 cruise. I was thinking the same thing as we have a 12/4/16 cruise booked!

I always play a little if I do it. A couple penny slot pulls here and there. No one can argue that you're not feeling lucky tonight and east to cash out.

 

Also already have them loaded to your sail and sign account. They start from giftcards and work there way to cash/credit.

 

Thinking about it you can pull funds from the giftcards directly from the Self Serve Kiosks too if they're loaded up to your S&S account.

 

I used the promotional ones to pay for tips, drinks fun shops and things like that and just cashed out the rest. It was an extra nice cruise knowing the S&S bill was ultimately free.

 

 

I was talking to someone about having enough money or credit to do this on a larger scale where the cruise and S&S account are covered all on promotional gift cards and you get all your actual money back.

 

It's a stock holders nightmare but a cruisers dream
