Seeking reviews from those who have actually stayed at the Sunrise Hotel in San Pedro

Hi, All. I am seeking reviews from people here on Cruise Critic who have actually stayed at the Sunrise Hotel in San Pedro, preferably in the last year or so. I have already read reviews on other sites and older reviews here, and lots and lots of opinions from people here on Cruise Critic who have never stayed there. I am now looking for information from those who *have* stayed there. Thanks so much!

We stayed there in April 2014. I was really leery because of some negative reviews, but it wasn't bad at all.

You wont get the Crown Plaza (which we have also stayed at), but it's ok.

We would stay there again. Everything nearby was booked when we needed it last year, and this was very near the port.
