Ragnar Danneskjold Posted October 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2015 We may skip the event on our upcoming cruise, to stay out in town longer. Is the dining room still open when the ship sponsors one of these events off-ship?
stcruise Posted October 26, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2015 Not sure about the dining room, but Candles was open on our cruise.
Ragnar Danneskjold Posted October 26, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted October 26, 2015 Thanks! Was envisioning dining on a can of Pringles from the mini-bar. Which I have done in the past, traveling on business
Gypsea Posted October 30, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2015 I would say YES, not everyone will participate in the event.
r&rd Posted October 31, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 31, 2015 On our Tahiti cruise last week, the people who did not want to go to the event were told their only option was to order from room service. So maybe it depends on the ship and/or the itinerary.
milepig Posted November 3, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) On our Tahiti cruise last week, the people who did not want to go to the event were told their only option was to order from room service. So maybe it depends on the ship and/or the itinerary. And there's nothing wrong with room service for one meal. They need to deliver to your cabin, but once you have it there's nothing to prevent you from taking it up on deck if the weather is nice.
