tazmanrmv Posted October 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Hi everyone, I'm leaving on the Liberty in a couple of weeks with my 6 year old daughter, who's a big Disney Channel, Nickelodeon fan. Is there a place I can find a listing of current TV stations the ships offer? We usually let her watch a cartoon show before she goes to bed. Any information is greatly appreciated. cb at sea Posted October 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2015 There will be a cartoon channel....but she'll be so tired...bet you won't need that at all!
Hoosierpop Posted October 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Yep, a cartoon channel (don't remember if it's the Cartoon Network or what) and a family movie channel. But I agree that there should be enough to keep a 6 year old busy.
RHilla619 Posted October 27, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Don't quote me but I think they had cartoon network in august, or something to that effect. No disney channel though, as another member mentioned there is also a family movie channel. CNN news for the adults, no ESPN in the rooms though only in the Sports Bar as a ploy to get you to get there.
Rare Tapi Posted October 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) I'm pretty sure it's Cartoon Network, but the cartoons that they play later at night are more adult oriented, definitely not Disney Junior material. You can always bring a small DVD player with some DVD's and that way there are no surprises. We brought one last summer (for the drive down and then for the stateroom) and it was a great idea. PortSideCruzan Posted October 27, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Hi Tazmanrmv :) My most recent sailing was aboard the Breeze & we had the Cartoon network & the Boomerang cartoon channel. We also had TCM, FOX, NBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, TNT, CNN, CNN international & CNN En Espanol. ESPN & ESPN 2 Latin America were available, (but) were only available at the Casino bar & SportSquare bar onboard. When at sea on any cruise line, much will depend on the satellite & location of the ship. Have a terrific day! :)

lovingCCL Posted October 27, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 27, 2015 I have downloaded movies on my Kindle for my flight so San Juan this weekend. You could always either rent or download some movies or episodes if you are concerned and watch it on your portable device (phone, tablet, etc.). Just a side note, if you have Amazon prime you can download Prime movies and tv shows for free if you have a supported device (which i think must be a Kindle because it doesn't work on my Note 4 phone). tazmanrmv Posted October 27, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted October 27, 2015 Thank you for the information everyone. Cartoon Network and Boomerang are fine. She watches it more for background noise than actually listening or watching the shows.
