Does carnival offer great Black Friday sales?

Thinking about booking another cruise. Right now the half deposit with on board credit is appealing. But if carnival routinely does great incentives on Black Friday, I may want to wait. I can't remember in past because we've always been booked by then. Anyone know?

 

I know they do the special gift card promotion which I will likely get with my Barclay carnival car.

Too funny! I can't answer the question because this is the first year in the last 5 or 6 years that we have not been on a cruise for Thanksgiving. It will be strange for sure!

They usually have some kind of deal involving the Carnival MasterCard if you have one.

They sure do! 30-50% off select itineraries. I got a bargain at a ridiculous price and used the bonus discount gift card deal to make the deal even better.

 

I say wait and see... not much to lose but finding out "nope".

Last year we were already booked for a cruise in April of this year. We had booked early saver and had chosen cabins on deck 7. On Cyber Monday we were able to cancel and rebook at guarantee rate saving $500. Four cabins booked so we saved $2000. When we received our cabin assignments we were stilll on deck 7, same area that we had booked to begin with. We have already booked for next February, but will be checking on Black Friday and Cyber Monday for a better deal.
