tigercat Posted November 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) We are doing a B2B in Jan. We have done a couple of B2B's but this is the first time that we will have to change rooms. We are actually just moving next door. What can we expect? Usually when we have a B2B we don't have any problems and are told that it is okay to go back to our cabin at any time. When will we have to move our things over to the next cabin? I have been told that we won't have to pack everything up but a lot of things us. I would have thought it would be easier to just change drawers but are unsure if the drawers actually come out. Has anyone done this? tigercat Edited November 12, 2015 by tigercat

gtaylor Posted November 12, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 12, 2015 We did a B2B on the Breeze recently. We were asked to pack up and tag our bags for the second week and leave them in the cabin. Went to the B2B gathering for a photo and then escorted off, through customs/immigration, and back on board to champagne while our stuff was moved to our room down the hall. We carried meds and jewelry off and then back onboard. gary
keene state mom Posted November 12, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 12, 2015 I did several back to backs with he same room however like you I did change once to the room next door , and they cleaned the new room first, what I did was put all my clothes on hangers ahead of time and just carried everything that way , and put everything in the closet and then the few things that were in draws I threw in a suitcase dragged it over and I was all settled before we even had to meet downstairs at 10.00. They did offer to help, but they are so busy and It took us just a few mins.
ready2cruzagain Posted November 12, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2015 It's easy, done it several times and on different floors. Yours will be the easiest since it is next door. Make sure and tell your cabin steward, he should have a list of b2b people but sometimes names get left off. All you have to do is pack every thing up in your suitcases, leave your clothes on their hangers, take your valuables with you. Room steward will do the rest. I had to change cabins........ My two cabins was just across the hall from each other...... I had the same cabin Steward........ I talk with him, told him I was doing a BTB........ I packed everything up........ The morning the Ship pulled back in to home port as soon as the guest left out of the cabin(my cabin for the 2nd Cruise....... The Steward and his helper started cleaning that cabin...... They are soooooo busy............... It was easy for me to move my things myself....... They ask me if I needed help,,,,I said no........... After I got moved I went on to where I was to meet the other BTB Cruisers..............I did go back to my cabin... After meeting the Customs Officer... Happy BTB Cruising.......................
