Upcoming cruise, PVP told my son to bring his marriage license?

The reason for the pvp suggesting bringing the marriage lic is because she is under 21 and he is under 25.

 

According to the rules, they will not be allowed to cruise unless they are married which they are. They just need to show proof probably/maybe. In this case, better to take it than not.

Well I found out more precise info from my son. I booked the cruise. I booked their room in his name and her married name. He told me this afternoon that her drivers license is still in her maiden name. So she has no photo ID in her married name yet. Don't ask me why she hasn't changed it, I would've done it right away. So, guess for sure it's a good idea they bring the marriage license.

Correction. She'll need to bring the marriage license regardless if you change her last name or not on the cruise documents. This because Carnival requires those under 21 to be in a cabin with someone 25 or older unless married
