jackparts Posted November 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2015 Anyone know if the mini suite doors are metal to use a small magnet to hold notes? Walkie talkies useable without too much static and possible range with a good set? Thanks.
Rare electro Posted November 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) Anyone know if the mini suite doors are metal to use a small magnet to hold notes? Walkie talkies useable without too much static and possible range with a good set? Thanks. AFAIK, all cabin doors on all cruise ships are metal. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. For communications on the ship, you and your party can download the NCL app, and for a 7.95 fee, you can text anyone else that has the app and paid the 7.95, using the ships wifi. I will be testing this out on my BA cruise at the end of jan. Lois Edited November 15, 2015 by electro
ncklhaus Posted November 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 15, 2015 Yes, the doors and walls of the staterooms are metal so you can use magnets. I used the iConcierge to communicate with my husband. There are also phones all over the ship you can use to call your/others rooms and leave messages, so I don't think you will need walkie talkies. We loved the Breakaway!
