Katomerikaf Posted November 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2015 Are there tours of the island available on the day you arrive from the cruise terminal? If so any recommendations/prices/tips ?
muskatnuss Posted November 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) Do you mean, if there are tours to book direct from the Cruise Terminal? The Cruise Terminal does not organise tours. Outside the Terminal, diagonally to the right is a Taxistand. Here is a Concierge. She will help to organise a tour for you with a taxi. They do try to get as many People as possible together. Make sure you know which currency they are talking about - Barbados Dollars or US Dollars. They take US Dollars. The rate is 1 US Dollar is equal to 2 Barbadian Dollars. Can't say what they might cost. It depends on what you do. Edited November 15, 2015 by muskatnuss
Rare MrSchwump Posted November 17, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2015 There are dozens of cab drivers hanging at the terminal offering island tours. A couple years ago the rate seemed to be about $25 an hour. We pre-booked a tour through Carson Moore, which as a tad higher at $30/hr. But his guy did a great job and there were just 4 of us and he took us exactly where we wanted to go.
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2015 Lots of taxis are available for tours and there are also other tours you can book at the terminal. Keith
