khrivnak Posted November 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2015 Are adjoining cabins cheaper? Does anyone know which cabins on Magic are adjoining?
SadieN Posted November 17, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 17, 2015 You mean connecting, with an interior door? Look on the deck plans. They will be marked. They are the same price as any other in the category.
khrivnak Posted November 17, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted November 17, 2015 Sorry, yes. I meant connecting. I couldnt see on the deck plans and nothing came up when I mock booked. We sail with 5 and usually get two separate rooms, I wasnt sure if the connecting rooms would save us any money. Ill check again.
cb at sea Posted November 17, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 17, 2015 No...they are no cheaper. Just more convenient, if you need connecting cabins!

I can never really find connecting rooms on the website, so I call a PVP and have them look and do the reservations with them. They seem to be able to find them. Tannison Posted November 17, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 17, 2015 The connecting rooms are shown on the deck plans with a tiny triangle between the two rooms.
springs741 Posted November 18, 2015 #7 Share Posted November 18, 2015 You didn't ask but...... generally if the rooms are connecting you can not open the balcony divider.
Cruzin2paradise09 Posted November 18, 2015 #8 Share Posted November 18, 2015 You didn't ask but...... generally if the rooms are connecting you can not open the balcony divider. That's not necessarily true. That being said if you need/want the balcony dividers to open, booking via telephone through a TA or someone though Carnival is you best bet. SadieN Posted November 18, 2015 #9 Share Posted November 18, 2015 You didn't ask but...... generally if the rooms are connecting you can not open the balcony divider. Must depend on ship and location. Our Miracle cabin was connecting and the balcony door could be opened. Watched them wash the balconies. We kept the connecting door closed bc we weren't traveling with those in the other cabin. (oh, the joys of booking a guarantee.)
momof3cruisers Posted November 19, 2015 #10 Share Posted November 19, 2015 For sure in the coves you can't open the balcony doors with connecting rooms. I asked John Heald about that not long ago.

I will reword my comment: The vast majority of connecting balcony rooms can not have the divider open. There are exceptions to every rule. So, if it is important to open the divider Cruzin2paradise09 is spot on with their suggestion to book with a TA that is familiar with Carnival or a PVP.
