Haven courtyard question

are there any sun parasols for sun-shade? Just booked Haven as a real treat and DH has recently been diagnosed with skin cancer and from pics i don't see any parasols :(. Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks.

Depends on the ship you are looking at (not mentioned in the post).

 

For example Breakaway class ships do have clamshells as well as parasols on the upper deck IIRC. On Jewel class ships there are some cabana like beds or similar on the lower level.

I am a redhead and avoid he sun. I always found a shaded place in the Haven Courtyard to sit and read or whatever. (Gem)

 

Now I understand that there are cabanas up top, which makes it even easier to enjoy being outside, but not in direct sunlight.

On the Gem they just installed cabanas in the courtyard there is shade if you move with the sun

Just be cautious, the video is 5 years old.

 

The photo in post #7 (taken 3 weeks ago) do not show any parasols. THey may take some out in better weather, but there were none when we were on board last month.

Thank you. That would be great as I do see in another post there are no parasols. Perhaps if we asked and they did have some they would bring them out. Hope you have a great trip.
