Couple of Miami car rent airport & shuttles ???

We will have a rental car with Avis to return to the airport pre cruise.

 

Is there a shuttle from there to the port or do we need to cab it?

Just trying to figure out if luggage and kids should be in tow.

 

 

 

 

 

On our return we have a rental with Thrifty. Does the shuttle come automatically or do I need to reserve with them before hand?

Avis has a downtown Miami location with a free shuttle to the port. Have you looked into returning your car there instead of at the airport?

The shuttle(s) for National, Alamo & Thrifty makes regular runs between POM and the MIA car rental center. Be sure to have your printed reservation ready to show the driver.

 

If Avis downtown does not shuttle (reports are mixed :confused:) I would drop the family and bags first and then catch a cab to POM (about $13)
