peymas Posted November 20, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2015 This will be our first time on Royal and I'm trying to find out all I can before we go. If you have my time dining, I understand that if you call and make a reservation that you will be seated at that time. Is this correct? Are there different lines to get into if you just show up to eat as opposed to if you have a specific time? I have been in my time lines that are huge. Wondering if making a reservation time helps with the line business.

When geting on the ship, we go to Guest Services for a show schedule, then go visit the maitre'd at the dining room to schedule to seating time(s). Enjoy your cruise! njm5378 Posted November 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2015 If you pick a popular time you still may have to wait. We had scheduled our times at 7:00 and one night waited till 7:20 to be seated. They do their best but just be aware.
cb at sea Posted November 20, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 20, 2015 RCI does MTD very well...not like some other lines, where you can wait and wait....the popular times will, of course, be more crowded than early or later....
