Airline upgrade question

We are considering a Hong Kong/Singapore cruise on Nautica January 2007. Oceania brochure offers "Free Air" with bookings. My question is can we upgrade to Business/First Class and use their offer as a credit on the cost? If so, how does it work and how much credit did you receive?

You cannot upgrade using Oceanias air..you may take a credit on your cruise however and buy your own BC air..each cruise has a different amount of air credit..check with your TA

This is exactly what we did for our Beijing to HK cruise next March. We used FF miles on UAL to upgrade which means we got BC seats for the price of economy.
