breanne.wieler Posted December 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2015 Hi all! Hubby and I are doing a bunch of two tank dives while cruising, and from experience, we're HUNGRY when we come up from the first one. So... How do we bring/get food for lunches? Do I just take it from the buffet in the morning? Could I get someone to make us some to-go sandwiches? Anyone ever done this?? Just seems silly to go hungry or bring a bunch of granola bars when there's all this fantastic food onboard!! Bre
Underwatr Posted December 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2015 Most countries prohibit printing unwrapped food such as fruit or sandwiches off of the ship. Your best bet might be to bring wrapped snacks like Cliff Bars for dive day. Doesn't the dive boat provide a snack during the surface interval? breanne.wieler Posted December 3, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted December 3, 2015 Not all of them, no. And my husband eats LOTS - so a small snack won't do!
MommaBear55 Posted December 3, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 3, 2015 (edited) We bring power bars from home, dried fruit snacks and nuts. As other posters have said, you cannot bring any fruits or vegetables off the ship and nothing that isn't sealed. OCruisers Posted December 3, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 3, 2015 The food you take off of the ship needs to be packaged and sealed by the manufacturer.
